Kaliapani: 49th All India Mines Rescue Competition was held from 10.12.2018 to 13.12.2018 at Eastern Coal field Ltd. Campus Rescue Station Sitarampur, West Bengal. All India basis Six teams from Under Ground metal mines and 17 teams from Under Ground coal mines participated in the Competition.
The only one team Mahagiri Mines (Chromite) the Under Ground Metal Mines of M/s IMFA from Odisha participated in the competition.
The concluding function of All India rescue competition started at 5pm on 13th Dec’2018 with Director General Mines Safety as Mr.P K Sarkar chief guest, and other guests like CMD ECL,all other DMS and DDMS also participated.
In the competition, team from Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys won the best prize in statutory test category (metal mines) that brought glory to Odisha.
