Paralakhemundi: To support interior pocket of Rayagada block of Gajapati district, Society for the Welfare of Weaker Sections(SWWS), a leading NGO of Gajapati launched Maa Gruha at Dombapur of Rayagada block with the support of National Health Mission (NHM).It was inaugurated by District Tribal Development Council Chairman, Antaryami Gomango & Chief District Medical Officer, Purna Chandra Kora attended as Chief Speaker. The dignitaries expressed their pleasure to exploit all health care for ante natal mothers for rehabilitation prior to delivery to accomplish safe institutional delivery at Maa Gruha. The staff of Maa Gruha will look after all their accessories related to health care with substantial nutritional flooding. Mostly from dense & inaccessible backward villages will get more benefit of various health supported schemes. The program presided by D. Jagannath Raju, President of SWWS.Among others Rayagada Community Health Centre Medical Officer Dr. B. K. Das; District Program Officer of NHM; block Chairman, Dhaneswar Bhuyan
& other PRI members spoke on the occasion. ASHAs from Rayagada block attended the program & they warmed up to capitalize all health maternity care to reduce IMR & MMR with the message on institutional delivery. Bhagabat Padhi, Governing Body Member of SWWS conveyed vote of thanks. Local activist Jyoti Prasad Pani facilitated the program.
