Jalandhar: Journalism & Mass Communication 2nd year student of LPU Supriya Nayak has been regularly shining as one of the top actress in Odia Film Industry- Ollywood. As lead actress in her latest released second movie ‘Only Pyaar’, Supriya is being applauded all around for her versatile talent. Prior to this also, Supriya had shared the screen with Odia super-star Babushan Mohanty in her first box-office hit movie ‘Love Pain Kuch Bhi Karega’. This romantic drama is filmed under the banner of famous Moon Shine Entertainment and directed by Tapash Sangahria with Abhijit Majumdar as the music composer.
In a message to her fellow students at LPU, Supriya says: “Be yourself and confident, as confidence rears success. When I had started, for my studies at LPU, from my small village Manijanga village in Tirtol Tehsil of District Jagatsinghapur in Odisha, I had never even imagined that the aura of ‘ever dreaming big prevailing at LPU Campus’ will make me to imbibe its ideology so soon. Seeing so many celebrities visiting LPU Campus, I too used to dream to be like them one day. So, being myself, I secretly went for auditions and ultimately grabbed the great opportunities as they befell my way. I am indeed thankful to my fellow students, teachers and administrators at LPU, who always kept me inspiring so many other titles also during campus activities.”
Although these are Supriya’s initial films, yet she has swept off hearts with her acting and dancing skills. Actor Supriya Nayak who entered the glamour industry through a reality show ‘Mu Bi Heroine Hebi’, is now impressing her fans with ‘Only Pyaar’. This time too, 18-year-old actor Supriya has been lucky to star opposite superstar Babusan. Congratulating and blessing the multitalented student, LPU Chancellor Ashok Mittal says: “Presently, just in her teens, Supriya has gathered much adoration for her talent. We wish her for future success.”
Informing about movie ‘Only Pyaar’, Supriya says: “I anticipate that being full of youthful energy, love, romance and imbibing deep message, ‘Only Pyaar’ will keep on attracting cine lovers to the screens. It is scenic also, as several scenes of the movie are shot at a hill station. Moreover, all the songs of the movie are full of rhymes, rhythms, musical thrills and special skills.” She also appreciates that it is a great and rare sign for Ollywood to see senior stars coming forward to support the new actors like me.
She also shared: “I was waiting for the perfect character to come my way. Director Tapas Sargharia, who is known for bringing in a fresh element to the style of film making in Ollywood, approached me to work in “Only Pyaar”. I agreed since it had a unique story. Love is an essential part of our lives, and thus of our movies too. Although the emotion of love remains unchanged, we always try to represent it in a new way. This film is an example of how to stay dedicated in love despite all obstacles and difficulties. Love is not always limited to your boyfriend or girlfriend. I love my work, my parents, and many other things. I work so hard to complete a movie, because I love my work. So, I can say I will do anything for my love, and that is ‘Only Pyaar.”
