Report by Kahnu Nanda; Jagatsighpur: The Kujanga police finally resolved the mystery behind bodies recovered from Mahanadi River five days ago and arrested a Man father of the deceased woman on Tuesday.
Report said that the murderer was identified as Akshya Sethi hailing from Kothiasahi village under Kujanga area took extreme step killing his daughter Mamina Sethy and her three children Barsha Sethy, Disha Sethy and Munna Sethy for retaining his son in law Ananta sethy’s death compensation Rs 3 Lakh. During cops interrogation the killer Akshya had admitted that first he had strangled his two granddaughters and threw their bodies in river Mahanadi. Later on the same night he adopted same way killing her daughter Mamina five year old grandson Munna and disposed up the bodies in river on May 10.
Investigating the case police had suspected Akshya and earlier detained at police station past three days during police questioning the alleged killer had revealed the entire murdering plan. Moreover Askhya informed cops that he had intended capturing son in law’s compensation money for spending his daughter’s marriage but his daughter deceased Mamina had objected the bid as consequence he eliminated her entire family, Askhya told police.
