Bhubaneswar: “Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) is the Fly-Over from India to Bharat” said Prof. Ganeshi Lal, Governor of Odisha joined as Chief Guest of first Foundation Day celebration of KISS Deemed to be University on 13th September 2018. Addressing students of KISS Prof. Ganeshi Lal said, Just 2 to 3 years back, 10000 scientists in a 27 km long tunnel under 300 ft of the earth spending almost 50000 cores of rupees were searching for a god particle. If they would have come to KISS, there was no need of searching a God particle. I am so amazed to see KISS, there is no word to express. I salute the team of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KISS who are doing such things, which can’t be expressed in words, he added. He said, all souls are potentially divine. Love of souls for soul becomes the LOGO of KISS. As his Birth Day on Ganesh Chaturthi, Prof. Ganeshi Lal gave Rs. 1 Lakh for distribution of sweets among students of KISS. Dr. Samanta gave the welcome address while, Saswati Bal, President of KIIT & KISS and R. N. Dash, Secretary also addressed the gathering. Prof. Harekrushna Satapathy, VC, KISS Deemed to be University in his address gave a brief note on research, development, academic and other activities going on in KISS Deemed University. Julios Lakra, Registrar, KISS Deemed University proposed the vote of thanks.
