Bhubaneswar: KIIT Deemed to be University is organizing its “14th Annual Convocation” on 10th November 2018. His Excellency Prof. Ganeshi Lal, Hon’ble Governor of Odisha has given his kind consent to grace the occasion as Chief Guest, where as Prof. (Dr.) Ernesto Kahan, Sr. Vice President, World Academy of Arts & Culture (WAAC), U.S.A. & Former Vice President, IPPNW would be the Chief Speaker. Prof. Ved Prakash, Chancellor, KIIT Deemed to be University would preside over the convocation Ceremony.
During the convocation students of KIIT Deemed University would receive their Bachelors, Masters, Dual Degree and PhD Degrees. Prof. Dr. Kahan would receive D.Sc. Degree (Honoris Causa), while six other eminent personalities from different walks of life will honour with Honoris Causa Degrees – The Rt. Hon. The Baroness Usha Kumari Prashar, CBE, PC, U.K. (D.Litt.); Mr. Niklaus-Samuel Gugger, Hon’ble Member of Swiss Parliament, Switzerland (D.Litt.); Prabhu Gaur Gopal Das, Life Coach, Monk & Spiritual Motivational Speaker (D.Litt.); Shri Kabir Bedi, Renowned Indian Film Writer, Producer, Director and Actor (D.Litt.); Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University, Dhaka, Bangladesh (D.Litt.); and Prof. Dinabandhu Sahoo, Director, Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Imphal, Manipur (D.Sc.).
