Raigarh: Executive Director of Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL)’s Raigarh Unit Shri Dinesh kumar Saraogi has been selected for the ‘Best Director’ Award in Industrial Sector Platinum Category by leading organisation FAME India. He has been selected for this prestigious award for successfully completing several major projects of JSPL and his vision for corporate social responsibility.
Prior to his present assignment, Shri Saraogi led JSPL’s Angul Unit and was instrumental in setting up Odisha’s largest and most modern steel plant of 6 MTPA Capacity. He also played a major role in establishment and operation of JSPL’s steel plant at Oman. Under his leadership JSPL also started supplying rails to Indian Railway, first time by a private Company in Industrial History of India. In addition to this, the company has also earned a profit after a long interval. Considering all these achievements Shri Saraogi has been selected by the jury after examining entries from all over India. The award will be presented to him in a grand ceremony at Chandigarh in March 2019.
On announcement of this Award Shri Saraogi said, “This award is for JSPL’s vision and operational excellence. The Company is marching ahead with guidance of JSPL’s Chairman Shri Naveen Jindal. We have seen up and down in recent times. JSPL group is again ready to touch the heights of success”. He expressed confidence that 2019 will be the ‘turnaround year’ for JSPL.
