Angul: Thousands of employees, workers and people from periphery villages celebrated the birthday Smt. Savitri Jindal, The Chairperson Emeritus of O.P. Jindal Group. Employees of JSPL performed a puja at Hanuman Ji temple inside the plant and prayed for her good health and long life. As a mark of celebration the Jindal Mahila Samiti (JMS) President Mrs. Sujata Saraogi, Mrs. Anindita Banerjee, Mrs. Sangeeta Mittal And others sliced the birthday cake on behalf of Smt. Savitri Jindal fondly called as Mata Ji, by all. JSPL’s Chief Technology Officer Mr. Sabyasachi Bandyopadhyay, Executive Director (Projects) Mr. Bharat Rohra, Executive Director Mr. Jona Pillay,Yoga Guru Swami Satyabindu, HR & ES Head Mr. Praveen Kumar, GM-TA to Chairman Mr. Ashish Pandey, and all the other HoDs and staff members were also present during the function. Extending his warm wishes to Mrs. Savitri Jindal, Mr. Sabyasachi Bandyopadhyay said, “we all are blessed to have such a kind heart as our Chairman Emeritus, and her perennial guidance and blessing gives us the strength to do good for the Company, Society and Self as a whole”. On this occasion Swami Satyabindu, Smt. Sujata Saraogi and Mr. Damodar Mittal, EVP-Phase 1B, also shared their experience with Smt. Savitri Jindal (Mata Ji) and wished her a long life. About 10000 workers and employees were served with delicious Lunch, which was organised to mark the occasion. And, a Bhajan Sandhya was also organised at the evening to make the birthday memorable and to pay collective respect to Smt. Savitri Jindal ji. Employees of JSPL’s Bhubaneswar Office also celebrated Smt. Jindal’s Birthday and prayed for her healthy and long life. To make the occasion memorable, JSPL Foundation served food and snacks packets to the children of Mission Ashra, Bhubaneswar.
