Angul: Thousands of employees and allied workforce of Jindal Steel and Power Ltd. (JSPL) administered the safety oath today at its Plant premises to adhere to the safety guidelines of the company. JSPL’s Chief Operating Officer – Odisha, Mr. Pankaj Gautam administered the Safety oath to one and all of the company early in the morning today.
Addressing on this occasion, Mr. Pankaj Gautam, advised everyone to follow the safety norms strictly in their respective workplaces, without a little dilution as this is one of the prime responsibilities of every employee.
Participating in the ceremony, Mr. Suresh Kumar, Executive Director -Maintenance & TPM stated that multidimensional actions towards improvement of safety culture have been initiated in JSPL. Safety is the Mantra of the Company ; thus strict compliance of the safety practices are the prime requirements .
Mr. Damodar Mittal, President &Factory Manager of JSPL also administered the safety oath and asked everyone to adopt the safety culture of our company in their day to day life and focused on strict implementation of all the safety measures when stringent target is to be achieved in such a competitive scenario. Many Departments, individual employees and contractors were awarded in the function for their significant contribution towards reinforcing safety practices. Mr. BP Singh, GM-Safety anchored the function and thanked all for making the program a grand success.
