Sambalpur: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) distributed blankets among poor and needy people living in the peripheral areas of corporate office here.
Members of MCL’s Jagriti Mahila Mandal, led by its president Dr Nisha Thakur distributed blankets funded under CSR Scheme of company among the poor and needy in surrounding villages.
On two-day mission under their “Samarpan Pariyojana”, Jagriti Mahila Mandal members visited Regulatory Pada, Durgapalli and other nearby villages of Burla and Sambalpur distributed 400 blankets.
Prominent among others included Jagriti Mahila Mandal vice-president Ms Padmja Singh and secretary Ms Ranjita Tripathy.
