Bhubaneswar: B K Sharma, DG Fire services is new DG, in-charge, Odisha. Election Commission of India approves his appointment.
Mr BK Sharma to assume charge as DGP of Odisha after incumbent Dr RP Sharma goes on leave over demise of his wife .
It should be noted that the Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) RP Sharma’s wife Tushar Sharma passed away today at a private hospital here.
Tushar was suffering from Penumonia for past couple of days and had been admitted to CARE hospital in Bhubaneswar, on April 2. Later, he had been shifted to Gangaram Hospital in New Delhi.
The state government has recommended 3 DG rank IPS officers name for the post.
