Bhubaneswar: South Eastern Region Pipelines (SERPL), Indian Oil Corporation Limited is undertaking activities on the theme of Swachhta during MoP&NG Swachhta Pakhwada (1-15th July 2018) under the umbrella of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
This Pakhwada witnessed a series of activities aimed at inculcating the civic sense & importance of Public Cleanliness among the young masses especially school students. SERPL identified Govt. Primary & High Schools wherein Nukkad Natak, W.A.S.H. Campaign for Personal Hygiene, Debate Competition, Drawing Competition, Waste Segregation Awareness programs etc. were conducted. On 11th July 2018, SERPL organized awareness sessions on Menstrual Hygiene Management & W.A.S.H. for adolescent girl students of Govt. High School, Sahid Nagar, Bhubaneswar.
The sessions, supported by WaterAid India, effectively engaged the future generation to think & connect their day-to-day activities with the Swachhta Campaign. SERPL also channelized e-waste generated in office for its proper disposal and treatment.
