Sambalpur: Mr A K Jha, Chairman & Managing Director, Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has been awarded by the Institute of Economic Studies (IES) for excellence and distinguished services in the corporate sector.
The IES conferred on Mr Jha the “Leadership Innovation Excellence Award” in recognition of his achievements & dedication in discharging duties towards corporate sector.
The institute also conferred on MCL a Gold Award for Excellence in Productivity, Quality Innovation & Management.
On behalf of the CMD, Mr L N Mishra, Director (Personnel), MCL received the awards from His Excellency the Governor of Odisha Dr S C Jamir at the seminar on “Current Economic Scenario” held yesterday (July 8, 2017) at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi.
MCL is the top coal subsidiary of Coal India Limited having operations in Odisha.
