IndiGo bags “The Passenger’s Choice Awards” at the World Airline Awards 2018

New Delhi: IndiGo, India’s largest low-cost airline, has once again been named as the ‘Best Low Cost Airline in Central Asia & India’ at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2018. The airline was recognised for winning this award for the 9th consecutive year. Skytrax World Airline Awards presented the plaque to Mr William Boulter, Chief Commercial Officer, IndiGo, who along with IndiGo colleagues, Airport Manager Mr Varun Dwivedi and Lead Cabin Crew Ms Christina Kadam, accepted the prestigious accolade at a grand ceremony in The Langham Hotel, London.

Mr William Boulter, Chief Commercial Officer, IndiGo said, “All of us at IndiGo are very proud to win this award for the ninth year in succession, in the face of much competition in our region. The customer facing teams at IndiGo perform a fantastic job, sometimes under very challenging circumstances, to deliver our brand proposition of hassle free and courteous service, with the best on time performance in India. We are determined to continue to provide the lowest fares to our customers and maintain the fabulous record built over the last 12 years.”

As the world’s largest annual airline passenger satisfaction survey, the Skytrax study is not restricted to member airlines or a pre-selected choice of airline, and any airline in the world can be nominated. The core focus of the survey is for customers to make their own, personal choices as to which airline they consider to be the best, underlining the brand as the Passenger’s Choice Awards.
