Bhubaneswar: The Indigo Airlines on Wednesday launched the much-awaited daily direct flight service to Chennai from the Bhubaneswar airport. Indigo Airlines flight no. IGO-756, which landed at 2.10 pm here, took off for Chennai at 2.50 pm.
It should be noted that Bhubaneswar has now direct flights to New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Chennai and Varanasi. A total of 28 flights by carriers Air India, Indigo Airlines, Go Air and Vistara operate from Bhubaneswar.
