Bhubaneswar : Utkal Alumina International Ltd., a flag ship company of Aditya Birla Group constructed a community centre for the inhabitants of R&R Colony II in D. Karol village of Kashipur block. The centre was inaugurated by Mr. N. Nagesh, Unit Head and President of Utkal Alumina in presence of Mr. Raghunath Pratihari, Vice President – HR, Mr.Rakesh Mishra, Sr. GM (Admn., CSR and Land &Legal), Mr. TM Prakash, Sr. GM (HR and IR) and other company officials. More than 200 villagers from the village attended the function. The company also handed over the musical instruments to the inhabitants on the day.
While, inaugurating the centre, Mr. Nagesh said that this centre will help in facilitating social functions and will also serve as a study centre for the school going students. The effort has been well appreciated by the people.The programme was effectively coordinated by Mr. Gajendra Naik and Mr.Debakanta Pradhan of Utkal Alumina.
