IMFA bags four State Safety Awards

Bhubaneswar: Indian Metal & Ferro Alloys Ltd, (IMFA) has bagged four Safety Awards at the State Safety Award function, organized by Directorate of Factories and Boilers, Odisha on 10th March 2018.

 

IMFA Choudwar Unit-II has bagged 1st prize in Longest Accident free period for the assessment year 2015 and 2nd prize in lowest weighted frequency rate of accidents for the assessment year 2016. IMFA Unit -III has bagged 1st prize in lowest Severity rate of accidents for the assessment year 2016 and its Unit-I has bagged 1st prize in lowest weighted frequency rate of accidents for the assessment year 2017.

Sri N H Babu, SGM – Manufacturing (FA), Sri Ishwar Chandra Sharma, General Manager – Production & Sri Ramakrushna Tripathy, Sr. Manager, HSE received these awards on behalf of IMFA from Sri Sushanta Singh, Hon’ble Minister, Energy & Labour in presence of Smt. Anu Garg, IAS, Principal Secretary, Labour & officials from Directorate of Factories and Boilers, Odisha.

Commenting on the occasion Sri Jayant Misra COO said: “ The company’s operations are benchmarked to global standards through an ‘Integrated Management Systems’ comprising of quality, environment and occupational health & safety certification.
