Bhubaneswar: Ideosync Media Combine organized a 2.5 day workshop, MediaSCAPE-II Stakeholders (Coromandel Coast) Workshop (31 Oct-2 Nov 2017) at OTDC Panthanivas, Bhubaneswar, India and was formally inaugurated by Dr. Kamal Lochan Mishra, the Chief General Manager of the Odisha State Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA). The workshop called together Community Radio stations from the East coast of India (Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh & Odisha), along with organizations working on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Disaster Resilience (ActionAid, Oxfam, VICALP, Udyama, BEDROC) which presented their perspectives and stories on their respective engagements with the idea of preparing communities to be disaster resilient.
