IAF Jet Crash at Mauyrbhanj, 108 ambulance reaches in time to save pilots

Report by Odisha Diary bureau, Bhubaneswar: An Indian Air Force( IAF) jet crashed at Kudar Sahi under Bisoi Police limits about 52kms from the district headquarter town of Mayurbhanj district on 3rd June 2015. The two pilots named as Siddharth Yadav and Sachin Mahajan ejected safely when the aircraft plunged into a paddy field. One of the two pilots, however, sustained injuries and was rushed to Bisoi hospital by 108 ambulances before rescue helicopters IAF base at Kaleikunda reached to airlift him to for further treatment.
Sanjay Kumar Jena, Cluster Head, Mayurbhanj got a call from Mayubhanja district SP Anoop Krishna at 1.36 pm. He created two IDS i.e; CRO1616284 and CRO1616230 and sent two ambulances BLS 141 & BLS 358 to the spot. Within 30mins, the ambulances reached at the spot & rescued the injured person.
Air force officials and Local Administration praised 108 crew members for reaching in time to rescue the injured pilots.
