The Heritage India Festival In Ekamra Hat

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Academy of Tribal Culture Research & Performing Arts in collaboration with Ministry of Culture, Govt of India organised the Heritage India Festival here in Ekamra Hat of Capital city. Dr. Mohini Mohan Pattaniak, eminent flutist and Chairman of the Academy presided over the three day function.
The programmes included rendition of Odishi and Hindustani Vocal by renowned artists from Odisha and Kolkata respectively, Jugalbandi of flute presented by Guru Srinivash Satpathy and Guru Jawahar Mishra from Odisha, presentation of flute by Pandit Preetam Banarjee associated with Pandit Sameer Nandi, Tablist from Kolkata, Odishi dance and Chou recital by 25 dancers each. The Odishi artists were from Guru Pankaj Charan foundation while Chou was led by Prof Bhabani Charan Biswal.
