Bhubaneswar: Puri Gajapati Shri Dibyasingh Deb called on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. They discussed development of Sri Jagannath temple, Sri Gundicha temple & other heritage monuments & site in the pilgrim city.
Highlights of the presentation made during the discussion:
• Development of Sri Jagannath temple and its vicinity, development and beautification of Sri Gundicha temple
• Development and beautification of Bada Danda, Athar Nalla, Jagannath Ballabh Math and other monuments surrounding Lord Jagannath Temple
• Renovation of Emar Math, Uttar Parswa Math and Bama Parswa Math, focus on promotion of Jagannath and Vedic cultures
• Modern civic amenities and citizens/tourist services like parking & interpretation centres to be installed
Chief Minister Shri Patnaik assured Gajapati that the State Government will work on a detailed plan for development of Jagannath Dham and thanked him for bringing up various development issues of the city.
