Bhubaneswar: A business delegation led by Ambassador of France to India Alexandre Ziegler met Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik and expressed willingness to invest in Odisha. The French delegation is keen to invest in sectors like hotel, steel, electrical appliances and power.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the mineral rich state has a very conducive business environment for investment. He stressed that the state is already Aluminum Capital of South Asia and Steel Hub of the country. In order to vitalise the downstream ecosystem, the Government has finalised a roadmap – ‘Vision 2030: Development of Downstream & Ancillary in Metal Sector’.
The Chief Minister also requested the French companies to explore investment in sectors like aerospace, medical equipment and food processing. He invited the French companies to participate in Make In Odisha Conclave 2018 to be held in Bhubaneswar from November 11-15.
