Four institutes from Odisha in top 100 list of NIRF India Rankings 2018

The Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Shri Prakash Javadekar addressing at the release of India Rankings 2018 for Higher Educational Institutions and presentation of awards under the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), in New Delhi on April 03, 2018. Bhubaneswar: Four institutes from Odisha in top 100 list of NIRF India Rankings 2018. Odisha’s NIT Rourkela, IIT-Bhubaneswar, KIIT University occupy 15th, 18th & 51st rank respectively in Engineering college category; Siksha `O` Anusandhan, KIIT University ranked 24 & 42 in University category, 19th and 20th rank in Medical category.

Odisha’s Siksha `O` Anusandhan ranked 38th (overall rank), National Institute of Technology, Rourkela 42nd on list.

IISc Bangalore occupies best university in India, also tops the overall rankings; Delhi’s Miranda House top college; IIT Madras best engineering college; IIM Ahmedabad occupies best management institute.
