Bangalore: Fortis Hospital, Bannerghatta Road, partnered with Begur Residents for the launch of “Swachh Begur-Beautiful Begur Initiative”. The initiative is a part of Swachh Fortis, which was started to support our honorable Prime Minister’s Swachh Bharath initiative, and involves multiple activities to keep the area clean. The campaign was inaugurated on July 2, by Shri. M. Krishnappa, MLA, BJP, South Bangaloreand other dignitaries from Fortis Hospitals were also present at the occasion.
50 kora bags and big dustbins were distributed at a shopping complex at begur main road for reducing/eliminating the usage of harmful plastic at the complex. The shopkeepers cleaned the area and also took pledge not to use plastic bags which help to keep environment clean.
