Puri : Executives of NTPC Kaniha volunteered for assisting victims of Fani Cyclone, which has caused huge devastation loss to live & property mainly in Puri District.
A dedicated team of NTPC Kaniha executives reached Brahmagiri block near Satpada under Puri District on May 8,2019 and engaged in providing relief to the affected villagers. They volunteered to provide eatables like Chuda ,Rice, Gaggery,Biscuits , Potato, ORS sachets, Sattu ,essential medicines & Tarpalin to 180 families of the villages namely Kajubhui Sahi, Panas pada, Behera Sahi, Anandpur and Malisahi.
The villages are severely hit badly by the severe cyclone Fani. Villagers appreciated the efforts who were seeking relief.The distributed items were procured through contribution done by the execuives.
The team is planning to distribute relief materials including like solar lantern to 500 families soon, which will help in this crisis time. Team included Gokula, Nanda Swain, Anil Kumar, Prabhat Ranjan, , Shital Sahu, ,Biswajit Dehury,Bimal Kumar , Rajesh Pani & D Mallick.
