Bhubaneswar: EMIL, the premier mining company of Aditya Birla Group, observed the 55th Mines Safety Week at its mining locations in a befitting manner. Organized under the aegis of the Director General of Mining Safety, Chaibasa Region, the weeklong events witness inspection of mines & vocational training centres, exhibitions on mining safety and cultural events like staging of plays and on safety and protection.
While the mining inspections are done on 16th November for Koira Iron Mine and 17th November for Jilling-Langalota Iron Mine, the final publicity and propaganda function was held at Koira on 18th November, 2017.
While, Mr. V. Srikanth, Agent & Head (Operation & projects), EMIL graced the occasion as chief guest, a panel of DGMS nominated senior mining executives from different organisations like TATA, Rungta, Serajuddin, EMIL and Jindal headed by Mr. Pramod Dehury of Serajuddin Mines were amongst the esteemed guests. The program was organized by Koira Mines Manager Mr. Ajit Kumar Patra and his team.
