New Delhi: Delhi-based think tank Odisha Forum organised Panel Discussion “Disaster Management & the Role of Civil Society” in the backdrop of recent widespread devastation caused by Cyclone FANI in Odisha June 7 at Taj Mansingh Hotel, New Delhi.
Eminent NGOs and Corporate Leaders participated in the Panel Discussion. Smile Foundation Co-Founder, Santanu Mishra, Mr Chanakya Chaudhary Vice President (Corporate Services) , Charudutt Panigrahi from FDIR were participated in the panel discussion. Odisha Forum President Mr. Gokul Patnaik presided over the session.
On this occasion Odisha Forum felicitated IMD DG Dr. M. Mohapatra and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) DG S.N Pradhan for their contribution for relief, rescue, restorations activities during and after Cyclone Fani in Odisha. Former Chief Justice of India, Justice Gopal Ballav Pattanaik , Justice Arijit Pasayat, vice-chairman of the Special Investigation Team on black money feliciated IMD DG Dr. M. Mohapatra and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) DG S.N Pradhan . Odisha Forum Secretary Pradipta Sahoo gave vote of thanks on the occasion.
