Apart from these CRPF officials, civilians like Block Chairperson Smt Sabita mallick, Secretary of Santha Ashram Bapu Degree College Sri Jogiraj Maharaj were present. Sri Prafulla Kumar Behera, Police IIC, graced the occasion.

The jawans of 8th Battalion of CRPF distributed household articles & radios to the villagers of Bamantota and Subanagiri villages. “CRPF’s development role has exploded the myth that this coveted force is only gone-trotting. In fact, in a newer role of development mongering, this coveted force has understood the development deficit in extremely interior tribal villages and rightly responded to the basic felt needs of the inhabitants. It really shows the way for a true Indian”, said Sri Ajaya Rath, a budding social activist form the local area and convenor of Citizens’ Forum.
