Corrupt officers who do not work in public interest will not be tolerated : Madhya Pradesh CM Chouhan

 

Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that corrupt officers will not be tolerated. They will be terminated from service. Shri Chouhan said that their government is a government that works in the interest of the people. Strict action will be taken against those negligent officers and employees who deprive people from availing benefits of government schemes and from supply of public services. Shri Chouhan was addressing Collectors after redressing grievances of complainants on Samadhan Online at the Mantralaya today. He instructed to withhold salary hike of CCF level officer and ordered suspension of tehsildar, patwari, block level education officer and several employees.

CM Shri Chouhan lauded Smt. Kapna Sadia Vasunia, sarpanch of Matasula gram panchayat village of Jhabua district for approaching Samadhan Online for redressal of drinking water problem of their panchayat. He announced Rs one lakh promotion fund for any one development work and told that the Nal-Jal Praday Yojana has been approved and people will start getting water supply in their houses this summer.

Shri Badrilal Patidar, farmer of Mathuri village in Ratlam told the Chief Minister that despite having complained of facing loss of soyabean crop, no insurance company reached his field for survey. Several farmers have been deprived of insurance claim amount. Chief Minister directed to issue notice to the insurance company immediately. He told collectors that in such cases, immediate action should be taken on complaints of farmers. He directed all collectors to ensure that the formalities related to depositing premium amount and other insurance related formalities should be completed on time. Crop cutting application should also be completed on time to estimate crop loss. Action would be taken in case of any negligence. He said that this year crop production could be affected due to drought situation. Therefore farmers should get their crop insured immediately. Waterlogging work should be done on priority and farmers cooperation should also be taken in this connection.

Sheikh Ajmer of Khitouli village of Katni complained that he received only the first instalment and did not receive the second instalment of Balram pond construction.

Taking serious note of the complaint, the Chief Minister suspended the assistant land-protection officer. He issued instruction to make payment of pond construction in all cases.

In another case of Dubda village in Rewa, Shri Sumdhandhar Sharma told that his land was encroached and has been sold illegally. The Chief Minister ordered suspension of the then tehsildar, present tehsildar and the then and present patwari for negligence in faking of documents and illegal land transfer case. Besides he asked to register and FIR against those who have taken loan and purchased the land illegally. He congratulated Rewa Collector for careful scrutiny of this serious case.

One member each from three different families were killed due to caving in of mud in Ajangaon in Khargone. The Chief Minister granted Rs one lakh each to each member of the affected families from Mukhya Mantri Swechhanudan.

Nanak Ram of Rohani village of Khandwa told that a wild bear had eaten six of his goats. After complaining on CM Helpline 181, he received his compensation. The Chief Minister asked why the delay had been made. On receiving an unsatisfactory reply to his query, he directed to withhold the salary hike of CCF. He also instructed for a departmental probe against the concerned ranger for closing the case without proper and satisfactory action and his removal from service.

Shri Keshlal of Umaria village of Mandla complained that a company related to the Power Grid Corpoation cut trees while giving transmission line and he has not got the compensation as per government’s fixed criterion. The Chief Minister said that the Energy Ministry will be apprised of the case. He said that those people whose trees were felled would be paid adequate compensation. He instructed the collector to keep vigilance over such cases and bring it to the notice of the state government.

Complainant Shri Shailesh Shrivastava from Chhindwada complained on CM Helpline 181 about teachers not being present in school. Later BRCC Parasia advised the teachers and closed the case. Taking serious note of it, the Chief Minister ordered suspension of the concerned officer.

Shri Surendra Kachi of Jabalpur told that he received the Prasuta Sahayata Rashi of Janani Suraksha Yojana on August 16. When CM asked why the payment was made after two years, he did not receive a satisfactory reply following which he ordered strict action against the concerned employee.

President of Saraswati Women Self-Help Group Smt. Mamta Behen of Nadiatol village of Shahdol said that she has received her payment pending since 18 months. At this CM ordered action against the concerned employee for the delay.

Prepare to tackle swine flu, dengue and malaria

The Chief Minister instructed the collectors that they should prepare in advance in their districts to deal with rising outbreak of swine flu. All departments should work together in coordination as war level. There is a risk to get infection of swine flu from neighboring states.

There is a rise in number of patients having symptoms of swine flu in hospitals. That’s why it requires being vigilant. He issued instructions to take help of private hospitals and keep the doctors and medical staff of private hospitals vigilant.

The Chief Minister issued instructions to district collectors to take help of the Task Force to tackle swine flu in their districts. Preparations should be made at war level to deal with it. Monitoring should be made on possible cases every day. There is no shortage of medicines. Cases can be sanctioned for Chief Minister Discretionary Fund for treatment of poor patients in emergency situation. Campaign should be launched at district level for creating awareness on swine flu symptoms. Isolation wards should be set up and facilities available in private hospitals should be used. He issued instructions to monitor dengue and malaria cases.

Form strategy to deal with drought

The Chief Minister instructed to make emergency plan in all districts to deal with drought due to low rainfall. Instructing to stop water at utmost, The Chief Minister said that plan should be prepared for equal distribution of water to farmers. Strategy should be framed in advance for dealing with impending water crisis.

Prime Minister’s birth day to be celebrated as Swachhta Diwas

The Chief Minister said all the districts should send report to the State Government for conducting activities under ‘Sankalp Se Siddhi’ programme of the Prime Minister. He said birth day of the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will be celebrated as Swachhta Diwas. He instructed all district collectors to plan series of programmes on birth day of the Prime Minister onSeptember 17. He said that Swachh Bharat Mission of the Prime Minister has created awareness for cleanliness in the country.

The Chief Minister appreciated the Chief Secretary’s initiative to resolve cases of name transfer and property division by launching a drive. He said that resolving all revenue cases should be taken as a challenge. This is the responsibility of all collectors. He said that corruption won’t be tolerated at any level. He issued instructions to collectors that list of such corrupt officials be prepared, who completed 50 years age or 20 years in service. Such officers will be terminated from the service.

Farmer’s convention from Sept 15 to Oct 15

Shri Chouhan said that farmers’ conventions will be held between September 15 and October 15. Discussion will be held in them to double farmer’s income. He said that this year agriculture growth rate remained 29.8 percent primarily. Congratulation to farmer and field staff for this. He issued instructions to bring more and more farmers under the cover of Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme. Issuing instructions to frame district level strategy for execution of action plan under Narmada Seva Mission, he said that appropriate protection should be extended to saplings planted alongside of Narmada river.

The Chief Minister congratulated 181 officers for performing excellent in CM Help Line. It was informed that 371 services were included in Public Service Guarantee Rules. 121 services among them are online. He said that district wise review will be made in execution of public service delivery act.
