Bhubaneswar: The longest bridge of Western Odisha- 2.5km ‘Ib Setu’-connecting Ib thermal area with Biju Expressway to be inaugurated tomorrow by CM Naveen Patnaik. The Public Works department executed the construction of the 2.5 km long bridge at an estimated cost of Rs 117.5 crore.
This bridge will provide a new link between the MCL coal field area adjacent to Belpahad in the Jharsuguda district with State Highway 10near Rengali of Sambalpur district. The bridge will go a long way in developing commercial and cultural linkage between the districts.
