Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of World Environment Day child leaders of Khandagiri Bari and Nilamadhab Basti pledged to save the environment. Various awareness activities on segregation of waste, say no to polythene and plantation child activists marched from one slum to other keeping placards in their hand showing environment messages. Organised by the Humara Buchpan Campaigning children and women community members planted saplings near their slums and took pledge to keep their slums clean for a better environment. Besides a community level meeting organised in the Nila Madhav Basti by the Humara Bachpan Organisation follwed by a street play on the theme of environment safety.
