Chairman CIL’s visit to MCL in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: On the 3rd. day of his official visit to Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, Chairman Coal India Limited, Sri Gopal Singh visited and inspected the mines of Bharatpur , Ananta and Jaganath at Talcher coal fields. Speaking on the occasion Sri Singh expressed confidence that MCL would, in the coming 6 months achieve its targeted production of 158 million tons.

Shri Gopal Singh on his first visit to any subsidiary of Coal India Limited after assuming charge of CIL had earlier met the chief secretary of the Government of Odisha on the 11th of October 2017 at Bhubaneswar.

Yesterday Sri Gopal Singh accompanied by Shri Shekhar Suman, CMD CMPDIL, Sri Binay Dayal , DT CIL, Shri A K Jha, CMD MCL, Sri J P Singh, DT MCL and Sri L N Mishra, DP MCL had inspected the mines of Bhubaneshwari, Lingaraj and Railway sidings in the evening and had interacted with the press and media as well as an interactive session with the employees of Talcher Coalfields.
Sri Singh while interacting with the employees had exhorted one and all to follow in the foot steps of the Prime Minister and put in maximum hours for the company’s betterment. The Mantra he said was to be happy and only way to achieve it was to put in as much labour as possible and the returns would be very satisfying. Later this evening he plans to visit Samleswari Mines in Ib Coalfields.
