BJP terms Odisha CM’s direction to Secretaries to move to districts as drama, BJD fears BJP popularity in grassroot level

Bhubaneswar: BJP terms Odisha CM’s direction to Secretaries to move to districts as drama, BJD fears BJP popularity in grassroot level . BJP MLA Pradeep Purohit said the Chief Minister’s direction to the Secretaries to move to districts at least four days a month and review developmental projects is another drama of his ‘promise-loving Government’.

He alleged that the Naveen Patnaik Government only loves to make promises to increase its popularity but has no interest to implement those.

“The Chief Minister has asked the Secretaries to visit districts four days a month at least five times, the last being October 15, 2015, during the last 17 years. The Chief Minister should clarify problems for which the Secretaries had not implemented his direction earlier,” demanded MLA Pradeep Purohit at a Press conference here.

He said the CM’s ‘PC must stop’ was also meant to enhance his popularity, he alleged. He said the Chief Minister should make a statement in the public as to how many nights he has spent in districts during the last 17 years.
