The 2-day national executive meet of BJP has begun in New Delhi on Saturday. Prime Minister Modi, senior BJP leader L K Advani, BJP President Amit Shah and Arun Jaitley lit the lamp, heralding the formal inauguration of BJP National Executive meeting.
Upcoming assembly and next year’s general elections are likely to be the focus of deliberations at this meet.
All senior leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states are participating in the national executive meeting.
Besides, party is discussing ways as how the benefits of central schemes reach the common man. Organizational issues are also likely to be taken up. They vowed to ensure the party’s return to power in the Lok Sabha elections with a bigger victory than 2014 when it had won a majority on its own for the first time in its electoral history.
