Bhubaneswar: Considering the concerns of citizens on paying of parking fees for multiple times at a same locality, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation today announced a pro people reform on the issue. Now for parking in a particular area for multiple times shall be charged once only. For example if a person parks a vehicle at Vanivihar square and Rupali he has to pay only single time for parking.
Out of 75 nos of parking areas BMC has identified 5 packages such as Vani Vihar to Sriya Square, Sisu Bhavan to Sriya Square, Unit one haat to Kalpana area Sum Hospital to Nayapalli Vishal Megamart area via Khandagiri and DD Motors Chandrasekharpur to Swosti Premium, Jaydev Vihar. How ever the fee structure and allowed time of parking for the above mentioned areas remains unchanged. A person parks a two wheeler for four hours will pay Rs. 5/-
