Arvind Kejriwal said Congress, BJP, BJD failed to effect development in country, state

Bhubaneswar: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) president and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal here on Thursday said the BJD has done nothing for the development of Odisha during its 19 years of rule.

Addressing a meeting of the Samajika Nyaya Abhijan, he said that even after 70 years of Independence, crores and crores of people are still poor in the country and most are from Odisha.

Odisha should not lag behind as it has better schools and hospitals like ones in New Delhi, but the problem here is that the State Government is being controlled by the mining mafia.

He said the Congress, the BJP and the BJD have failed to effect development in the country and States under their rule.

He invited the people of Odisha and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to visit Delhi schools if they want to see the change.

“While coming to Bhubaneswar today, a person told me that the BJD is in the BJP’s pocket and the Congress in the BJD’s pocket. There is no opposition party in Odisha as everything is rigged. Only people of Odisha can change this,” said Kejriwal.

He further stated that people earlier were not aware of the Aam Aadmi Party and they voted it to power in Delhi. Now if the people of Odisha want change, the same can happen here.
