Patrapada: Animal Welfare Trust Ekamra (AWTE), Odisha organised inauguration event of project ‘Boond’ (Water Bowl for street animals). The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Shri Ananta Narayan Jena, Hon’ble mayor, BMC in the presence of Local Corperators and Sarapanch.
Today Volunteers of AWTE placed Water Bowls in various places in Patrapada and created awareness among the people to keep water regularly. AWTE is an established organization in the state working primarily in the field of Animal Welfare. Project ‘Boond’ is one of many projects undertaken by the trust. Through this project the trust plans to place around 200 cement water bowls for street animals in 4 stages.
