More amenities added for tourists at Sanaghagra waterfall

Report by Malaya Mohapatra; Keonjhar: The Sanaghagara Development Committee has added more amenities at Sanaghagara tourist spot to attract more visitors. Recently, the lake for boating has been expanded and a new check dam was built from the District Mineral Fund. Similarly, a tribal museum with sale counter of local products has been built by the Integrated Tribal Development Agency.

Also a Bathing complex was completed with funds from the tourism department along with a Game Zone for children and adults for entertainment of tourists. Badri Narayan Patra, minister School and mass education, inaugurated the projects worth 1.5 crore rupees at Sanaghagara in presence of Abhiram Naik, Sadar MLA, Somnath Pradhan, Subcollector, keonjhar, Narayan Murmu,PAITDA, Arun Das, PD,Watershed, Ramray Mundeya, Chairman SDC, Ramesh chandra Nayak, Tourist Officer and Pradip kumar Rath, Executive Engg,R&B. A mega drinking water project, installation of a 20ft statue at the lake, rope way zip line, cafeteria, water park, waterfall view point and many other beautification work is under progress which are expected to be completed soon, Somnath Pradhan, Chairman Sanaghagara Development Committee informed the media. Sanaghagara has been a tourism model in the state which is developed and managed by local committee.
