Dhamra: An exposure visit to the industrial Area of Angul district was organised by Adani Foundation by taking nine Self-Help Groups of Kaithakola Panchayat nearby Dhamra Port. These teams visited ‘Jana Jivika Centre’ of Paranga village of Angul district. These groups visited the sites including food production area, personal care (cosmetics) manufacturing units, dairy farming and organic vermin-compost field etc. Teams discussed with the women of the “Jana Jivika Centre’ and the trainers about the self-reliant suitable work field. The local SHGs have opined about how these self-reliant programmes will be worked out at Dhamra.
