Dhamra: In a grand seminar organized by Odisha CSR Forum at Bhubaneswar, Finance minister of Government of Odisha Shri Sashibhusan Behera felicitated the CSR wing of Dhamra Port, Adani Foundation. On behalf of Adani Foundation, Shri Bijay Kumar Swain and Shri Subhashish Mishra received the award. Adani Foundation has taken exemplary measures for the development of qualitative education in rural area. Especially for the development of education, Adani foundation has dealt with so many developmental activities like bestowing scholarships to the scholars, constructing class rooms and toilets under the mission of Swachha Bharat Abhiyan.
Apart from it, Adani Foundation has dealt with distinct activities for perishing primary education throughout the rural peripheries like infrastructure development of Anganwadi schools at the local area, establishing library at the schools. To motivate students towards education for all and for daily attendance at schools, Adani Foundation has provided school bags and sports equipment etc. to the students. To increase the quality of education, Adani Foundation has established a national level English medium school named as Adani DAV Public School in this area.
