Adani Dhamra Port organizes Summer Camp

Dhamra: To help students use their time productivity during their summer holidays, Adani Dhamra Port’s Ladies Club known as SANGINEES was organizing a five days long summer camp to teach contemporary life skills, such as Yoga & meditation, creativity, critical thinking and resolving problems that aim to improve confidence and communication skills through fun and interactive lessons. This programme was designed to give children a holistic learning experience at a safe and child-friendly space.

“These life skills will equip children to solve problems, make decisions, think critically, communicate ideas effectively and work well within teams and groups. The course included special feature like creative writing, public speaking, innovative drawing, sand painting etc” Subrat Tripathy, Chief Executive Officer-Dhamra Port said.

Adani Dhamra Port Summer Camp includes structured recreation with activities like fitness, arts and crafts, music & dance to rejuvenate the students in hot summer. This camp was started on 9th May, in which senior port officials joined as guests including parents of the children to encourage the students. All activities were planned meticulously by extremely talented members of Sanginees under the leadership of Jayatee Dasgupta for the benefits of participants. This camp was attained by a age group of 3-14yr children to learn this extracurricular life skills. The experts were SoubhagyalaxmiPuhan, Santa Sahoo, Jaishree Sharma, Sudha Singh &Jhuli Ranahandol were executed the camp in a smoothly manner.

On the valedictory day on 14thMay, Dhamra Port COO Sudip Dasgupta, Head-Security Sunil Thomas, General Manager-Operation Sandeep Jaiswal, Head-HR Binu Thankachan were joined the gala celebration organized by participating students with pump & show at community hall inside Dhamra Port. In this programme, the children showcased their talent what they have learnt in this summer camp which was highly appreciated by parents & officials of Adani Dhamra Port.
