Adani Dhamra Port celebrates 73rd Independence Day

Dhamra: The 73rd Independence Day was celebrated at Rangmanch Parade Ground of Dhamra Port premises. Dhamra Port CEO Subrat Tripathy graced the occasion as Chief Guest. DPCL Chief Safety Officer Commandant Sunil Thomas welcomed him and together paid floral tribute to the martyrs. Chief Guest unfurled the National flag and delivered his speech. He shared valuable insights about the lives of the freedom fighters and their struggle for the mother India. He also stressed on how our freedom fighters’ ideals and vision have made us strong and determined and also said that this will be with us in future also.

In his address to the Port officers, workers as well as the families living inside the port periphery CEO Sri Tripathy said that our foremost duty is that, we should take an initiative to be united in making Dhamra Port a leading export and import hub of eastern India. On the eve of Rakshya Bandhan and Independence Day he greeted all the port workers and opined that each and every individual should come forward and strengthen their supporting hands to make our country a 5 trillion dollar economy in next 5 years. He also emphasised on ushering growth in export for enhancing our State as well as country’s economy through our participation.

Mesmerised parade was organised by Port safety team. The CEO praised Port Safety department, General Administration and HR Department for organising such grand programme.
