Bhubaneswar: The demand expenditure of Rural Development to the tune of Rs 1134 crore 38 lakh 54 thousand  has been resolved on Wednesday , in absence of the opposition members. During the current financial year construction of 45 bridges and 152.00Kms RD Road will be completed. Repair of buildings of 373 rural high schools, which are 50 years old will be done incurring expenditures of Rs 18 crore.

All weather roads to all villages, pipe water supply  and latrine in each and every home will be taken up during the finncial year. Rs 171 crore has been allocated for development of drinking water supply, Rs 4 crore 2 lakh 45 thousand has been allocated for Jalamani project.
