Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Government has exempted those trucks entering from the neighbouring States of Punjab, Haryana, Uttrakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Union Territory, Chandigarh to Himachal Pradesh, specifically engaged for transportation of apples and potatoes from the State from the payment of tax on goods leviable under Section 3 of Himachal Pradesh Passengers and Good Taxation Act with effect from 1.8.2010 to 31.10.2010 while loaded with apples and potatoes only. The Notification in this regard has already been issued by the Government.
