Report by Orissadiary correspondent; Cuttack: The Orissa High Court on Wednesday granted advance bail to the BJP leader and the party candidate for Patkura Assembly seat Bijay Mohapatra.

It may be mentioned here that a case was filed against Mohapatra on his alleged involvement in booth rigging at Talakusuma village under Patkura Assembly constituency during the second phase polls on April 23.

Later, Mohapatra, in a bid to avoid arrest, had appealed the High Court for an advance bail.
