Odisha: Odia girl Madhuri Mehta finds place in Indian cricket team for West-Indies tour
Report by OrissaDiary.com bureau; Bhubaneswar: Odia girl Madhuri Mehta finds place in 15 member Indian cricket team for West-Indies tour. 15-member Indian women's cricket team to tour West Indies soon..  The Twenty20s will be played from February 18 to 27. After a day's break, the teams will play the first of their three ODIs in Kingston. Anjum Chopra to lead women's cricket team in West Indies.

The National Women's Selection Committee announced a fifteen players name on Saturday for the India's tour of the West Indies, in February-March 2012.  It should be noted that Madhuri hails from Balangir district. She represented Balangir district in State level women's cricket tournaments. She represented Orissa in Zonal and National level women's cricket tournaments. Madhuri represented East Zone in Inter-Zonal Women Tournament at Ahemdabad in 2011. She selected to receive coaching at National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. Her patient 72 against Uttar Pradesh at Ahmedabad is best performance so far.
