Cuttack: Out of the nearly 40,000 seats in Barabati Stadium, around 16,000 tickets would be sold to the public for the December 21 One-Day International (ODI) cricket match between India and Sri Lanka, sources said on Tuesday.
Sale of tickets would begin 9 am onwards from December 18, an Orissa Cricket Association (OCA) official said. Each person would be allowed to purchase only two tickets, he said, adding that the selling of tickets would be done under close-circuit TV cameras and massive security arrangements.
Price of tickets have been fixed at Rs 400, while tickets reserved for OCA affiliated cricket players will be sold for Rs 200. The players’ concession tickets would be sold at the OCA conference hall on December 15 and 16, the source added.
