Report by Dipti Ranjan Kanungo, Bhubaneswar: A five-day Exhibition on the Life and Career of international Hockey star of Odisha Padmashree Dilip Tirkey titled ‘Chhak De Dilip’ began at the Rashtriya Lalit Kala Kendra here on Wednesday on his 32nd birthday celebration.

The Exhibition, inaugurated by the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, carries the published articles, photo, cartoons, paintings, poems and documentary films on highest number of international hockey match player Tirkey.

This is the best birthday present ever I got in my life from my home land Odisha.
I felt astonished with the idea and collection of documents by Sambit Mohanty, said Tirkey. The photograph of my school and the village is the most heart touching collection, he added.

This Exhibition not only gives the career statistic of Tirkey, also provide many information about the personal attitude. Among others Minister of Energy  Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak was present.
