Rourkela: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to divert seven inter-state express trains and short-terminate three intra-state inter-city trains to ensure the safety of the passengers in view of the indefinite agitation launched by the tribals in Rourkela.
12221 Pune-Howrah Duronto Express would be diverted via Sambalpur-Angul-Kapilash Road-Bhadrak route, while 12890 Yesvantpur-Tata Express would be diverted via Angul-Kapilash Road-Jakapura-Jaroli route.
Besides, 18006 Jagdalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express would be diverted via Angul-Kapilash Road-Bhadrak route and 13352 Alleppey-Dhanbad Express would be diverted via Vizianagaram-Bhubaneswar-Jakhapura-Jaroli route.
This apart, 12832 Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad Garib Rath Express would be diverted via Jakhpura-Jaroli route while 18452 Puri-Hatia Tapaswini Express and 18638 Yesvantpur-Hatia Express trains would be diverted via Jakhpura-Jaroli road.
18106 Bhubaneswar-Rourkela Inter City Express would be short-terminated at Sambalpur city and will remain cancelled between Sambalpur city and Rourkela while 18108 Koraput-Rourkela Inter City and Puri Rourkela Fast Passenger train would be short-terminated at Sambalpur and will remain cancelled between Sambalpur and Rourkela.
