Report by Kahnu Nanda; Jagatsinghpur: Police on Thursday arrested one youth namely Biswaranjan Palae hailing from Salijanga village six km away from here on the charge against him raping a married woman from same village.

Police said the victim woman had separated from her husband recently owing bad conjugal status taking this advantage the youth had approached her for marriage proposal several times but she refuted the proposal being dissatisfied in the fall out the aggrieved youth remained revengeful, two weeks ago taking opportunity the woman was living alone in house rushed to her house and allegedly raped her.

Taking complaint from victim woman police registered a rape case and arrested the alleged youth.
